Heena joined Flaherty McCarthy after working for an insurance defence firm in Toronto, Ontario. She has experience representing clients at different levels of courts and tribunals as well as dealing with motor vehicle accident claims.
Heena is a passionate determined litigator. She has a diverse range of litigation experience and is intrigued by different cases. Heena’s plaintiff side background from her articling helps her assess claims from different perspectives, taking into consideration legal and non-legal factors when working on a case.
Heena is kind and friendly and likes to build relationships with those she works with, including clients, to better understand their needs to be able to assist in the best way possible.
Heena graduated from City, University of London with an LL.B. and the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts. Outside of the office, Heena enjoys baking, travelling, and reading.
