Michael’s diligence and vigor contributes to his forceful and swift advocacy in the advancement of clients’ interest in insurance matters including challenging motor vehicle accident tort and statutory accident benefits claims and related disputes. His skilful and persistent approach leads to success and client satisfaction.
His work extends beyond advocacy as he seeks to provide ongoing practical advice concerning effective risk management techniques wherever possible. Michael has acquired extensive experience Alternative Dispute Resolution forums, including arbitration and mediation.
Michael’s advocacy is reflected in decisions involving motor vehicle accident, property, casualty, subrogation, insurance coverage, and employment.
A passionate believer in the importance of effective continuing legal education, Michael has written published articles concerning motor vehicle insurance and healthcare law, as well as providing assistance to the Bar Admission Course as administered by the Law Society. In 2000, Michael served a term as policy advisor to the Attorney General of Ontario during the Walkerton Water Crisis.
